Happy Office - Commission
I was commissioned by a friend who is a Director of Studies, to illustrate a splash image for his web office (really useful thing during these times). We came up with an image that resembles his physical office, but with a more happy and cartoony twist. Process pictures attached.

01 - Grayscale rough sketch.
02 - Building the main structure of the office in neutral colors.
03 - Added main character and painted the window (our key light).
04 - Added main elements, all in neutral colors with no light direction yet.
05 - More elements to fill the office
06 - Painted the basic shadows cast by the objects
07 - Painted the basic light direction
08 - Finish: Refine details, textures and colors. Add more lighting effects and color accents.
